Detecting Alignment using a Rack Gear
When alignment is adjusted using a rack gear, a Quadrature Hall Effect Gear Tooth sensor connected with a programmed meter tracking directional count can follow the movement of the gear. This can be effective for tracking the position of the component and adjusting the alignment as necessary.
Fully programmed counters are available in our Catalog.
For more information about our quadrature gear tooth sensors, why we request the gear pitch, and target gear design, see our Application Notes.
