Single Channel Hall Effect Target Tracker Gear Tooth Sensors
Target Tracking Gear Tooth Sensors utilize the Hall Effect and an internal circuit to switch a digital output on and off as gear teeth or other ferrous targets pass by the sensors.
These sensors can track standard spur gears at frequencies up to 15KHz and do not require a specific orientation to the movement direction of the target.
In addition to detecting standard gears, these sensors can also be used for measuring speed form targets including.
- Holes in discs, pulleys, and steel plates
- Cam shafts and crank shafts
- Steel inserts mounted in non ferrous discs and plates
- Tone rings, tone wheels, and face gears
- Bolt heads, pins, and other steel protrusions
- Shaft Keyways and notches in shafts
