Hall Effect Switches and Magnetoresistive Switches
Hall Effect switches turn an output on when they detect a magnetic field. The output turns off when the field is removed. Standard Hall Switches detect a South pole field, but North Pole and Either Pole Hall Switches are also available.
Magnetoresistive switches are extremely sensitive sensors that detect very small changes in a magnetic field to switch an output on or off.
Sensor Solutions offers Hall Effect and Magnetorestive sensors in a wide variety of sensitivities including custom programmed switch points. These sensors can be provided with NPN, PNP, TTL, and Relay outputs and built in a wide variety of packages.
