Magnetic Sensors for Detecting Alignment
With one or more magnets and Hall Effect sensor, non-contact alignment can be measured with digital or analog outputs.
- Digital Hall Switches provide an output that will turn on when a magnet is aligned with the sensor face.
- Coded Alignment Systems are tamper proof alignment switches that use multiple sensing elements and magnetic fields in a paired sensor and target to prevent end users from using a magnet to simulate alignment.
- Analog Hall sensors provide a voltage output that responds to the magnetic field, the greatest change in output will be measured over the center of the magnet face.
- Analog Position Sensing Systems combine a sensor and magnet for precise tracking of alignment ocer a 1” range.
