Ferrous Object Position Sensing
Tracking when an item or system component is in a specific position can be accomplished with Analog or Digital Ferrous Metal Sensors, or using Target Tracking Gear tooth sensors.
A rotational position can be monitored by pairing a 37ADQO target tracker sensor with a programmed directional counter that counts up or down as ferrous targets pass the sensor.
Ferrous Metal Sensors provide greater gap range for detecting Steel targets such as bolt heads. An Analog sensor’s voltage output increases as steel approaches and decrease as it moves away from the sensors. Digital sensors switch their output on when a steel target is within the detection range. 275VPA and 275VPD sensors are available custom programmed for detection of specific gap ranges and targets.
