Speed and Direction Hall Effect Gear Tooth Sensors
Sensor Solutions Speed and Direction Gear Tooth Sensors provide two digital outputs for monitoring speed and direction or count and direction.
- 37ADSD sensors are true zero speed sensors that can detect frequencies up to 10 KHz on rotating gears and linear rack gears.
- 37ADSDO sensors are rated from 0.1Hz up to 15 KHz. In addition to detecting standard gears, these sensors can also be used for monitoring the speed and direction of other targets such as bolt heads and holes in steel discs.
2 Channel Speed and Direction sensors are available in a variety of packages and with electrical options compatible with a wide variety of monitoring and control systems.
Note: All Speed/Direction Gear Tooth Sensors are built specific to the pitch of the target to provide the control system with the best possible signal for resolving the direction of movement. More information on why is located here.
